Wenzhong Tang, Founder, Principal
Wenzhong Tang is a seasoned software architect and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience building world-class software systems at Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Currently Wenzhong is a Senior Software Engineering Lead at VoiceBox Technologies, Inc. (http://www.voicebox.com), a leading provider of conversational voice recognition and natural language understanding (NLU) for automotives and connected devices. Before joining VoiceBox in 2013, Wenzhong worked for more than 10 years at Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) both as a software engineer and a manager, leading teams to launch high impact projects such as Amazon.cn, Amazon Cloud Drive, Docs app for Kindle Fire devices, and many more. Before joining Amazon.com in 2002, Wenzhong was a lead engineer at Appliant.com, a pioneer of Internet performance management. Early in Wenzhong's career he also worked at GTE, now part of Verizon, and Seagate Software, now part of SAP. Outside work, Wenzhong likes to experiment with technologies and previously built several popular Android apps.
